Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25 in 1954. She was born in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name of her parents. Lennox studied flute, piano and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years during the 70s. Lennox made it through on an allowance for students as well as working part-time in order to earn a living. Lennox did not feel satisfied with the level of her performance compared with others at the Royal Academy and began looking to find alternative routes. Lennox began her career as a flute-player in the band Dragons Playground. The group broke up before they appeared in I.T.V's talent show New Faces. Between 1977 and the year 1980 she sang in The Tourists. A British pop group. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox began work on Diva in 1992. It was her first solo album. It became a huge critical and commercial success. Nostalgia Lennoxs six solo album that was released in October 2014 is Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. Lennox has chosen her favorite jazz, blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four improvised tracks for piano that Lennox made available in May 2019. The E.P. This album is a companion piece of her "Now I let it go... art installation which was on display at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. It's also her debut independently-released album. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is an Scottish politician, philanthropist and musician and singer. The Tourists gained some minor notoriety for Dave Stewart's work in the 1970s. The group went on in the 1980s, to become the popular duo Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo career in 1992, with the release of Diva that featured several hit songs like Why as well as Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa an album from her studio, that was released in 1995 features the versions of a few of her most popular songs including the No MoreI Still Love Yous (and A Whiter Shade of Pale). Six studio albums by her solo and one compilation album are to her credit.
