Lesley Ann Brandt, born 2nd December 1981, is a model and actor who has appeared in many TV shows as well as films. Brandt began her career with New Zealand with the sitcom Diplomatic immunity. Her American debut was with her part as Naevia in the drama of the same name, Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress was a part of several television shows over the course of the last decade, such as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies, and The Librarians. From 2016, Brandt is playing the role of Mazikeen in the urban fantasy series Lucifer with Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was born in the city of Cape Town in South African. Her move to Auckland, New Zealand with her family when she was in her twenties. The path she took to her career started as a model in print and commercial ads. She also worked as a consultant for IT recruitment and also in retail prior to becoming well-known as a fashion model. Her first starring part in the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity where she took on the role as Leilani Fa'auigaese. In the year 2021, her first significant role was as Naevia the slave girl on the Starz series Spartacus Blood and Sand. The character of Naevia was reprised in the Spartacus sequel, Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker was her co-star in three TV series which include Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, she was cast to portray a bounty hunter demon called Mazikeen in the Netflix series Lucifer. Her biggest role is in this role. In the show, she stars alongside Tom Ellis Lauren French Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
